If you’ve followed my inspection videos or photos, you may have seen my curious sidekick before. She’s not just part of the family - she’s part of the inspection crew. On this particular day, she decided the roof was her territory too. So naturally, we climbed down together.

Most of the homes I inspect are occupied, which means I’m often working around beloved pets. I’m always careful to respect the seller’s space—closing doors and gates, and making sure pets stay safely inside where they belong.

I may be there for the buyer, but I never forget that the seller and their pets are trusting me too.
