Look at these Hyphal Fragments (black areas).

Hyphae is the filamentous growth structure (stem-like) for mold. Think of how a plant has stems. A low level of hyphal fragments indoors in not concerning, however if hyphae is present in large numbers (like found here using a tape lift) it may indicate an active fungal growth is nearby.
