Why We Have Mold in our Homes and Workplaces

You may have heard that Colorado is "dry" so we don't have mold. Mold can be present anywhere there has been an undetected leak or a known leak that doesn't get fix right away. Often this is under the toilet, sink, or bathtub/shower. I find microbial growth in 4 out of 5 homes that I inspect. Those that are tested for mold come back positive.
What you can do:
Check where you can in each room with water fixtures. Check appliances that have water in them, such as refrigerators/humidifiers. Walk in your basement and/or crawlspace (if you have these) and look up at the floor near the bathrooms and kitchen. If you have a finished basement, sometimes you can look in the utility room, where it is not commonly finished, to find hidden fungus/mold. Still need help?
