Kitchen Ventilation

Kitchen ventilation is important. When you have a gas stove, it is preferred that your vent terminates to the outdoors.

The ventilation for this kitchen was blocked by a sheet of glass. Most likely put in place for ease of cleaning the hood vent above the stove.

While it is a nice touch, it is a health concern as it changes the intended ability to pull the gases and humidity from the area. It should be removed for safety purposes.
